A Message From the Mayor

Welcome to the Township of Langley Regional AIrport web site. As you surf through this site, you will find that our airport is an integral part of our community. It offers a full range of aviation services to people throughout the Fraser Valley, including a wide range of helicopter charters, services and repairs.

The Township of Langley Airport is located in a unique blend of country and urban terrain. Langley has all the conveniences of a city while maintaining the livability of a small community - proximity to schools, post-secondary institutions and medical facilities; access to growing employment opportunities; and a regional business and commercial centre.

Langley is a good place to relocate or start your business. With a diverse economic base including well established agricultural communities, modern manufacturing industries and a very strong retail and service sector, Langley offers excellent opportunities for investors and businesses. The proximity of Langley to Vancouver, Seattle, and overseas markets has made our airport an attractive place for investment and development.

Langley is a tourism destination with rich heritage traditions. Langley is a part of Beautiful British Columbia. It has many tourism opportunities for international travellers and local residents alike. The Canadian Museum of Fligh, a non-profit organization with the acquisition and collection of a captivating assortment of aircraft and artifacts is a popular place to visit when at the airport. As the "Birthplace of British Columbia," Fort Langley is another premier destination where visitors get a taste of Canadian History, completed with costumed staff.

Township of Langley Council and staff are proud to serve this great community. By working together, we will bring innovative solutions to the challenges of a growing municipality and continue to build upon our high quality traditions.

Your questions and comments are always welcome.

Sincerely,
Kurt Alberts signature
