LANGLEY ADVANCE / INITIAL PRESS RELEASE

Harbour Air Seaplanes’ Introduces New Route between Langley and Downtown Victoria

(Langley, B.C. September 26, 2006) - Harbour Air Seaplanes is excited to announce that due to popular demand, they will begin daily scheduled service on a new route between the Langley Airport and their downtown Victoria Inner Harbour terminal.

Servicing the route with an amphibious Turbine Single Otter, Harbour Air Seaplanes’ looks forward to providing passengers from the City of Langley and the surrounding communities a fast, convenient and reliable option to downtown Victoria,” said Randy Wright, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Harbour Air. “This new route between Langley and Victoria was developed because many of our own passengers wanted a quick and convenient way to travel between the Fraser Valley and Victoria. With the current traffic congestion problems in the Lower Mainland, commuters face the daily grind of long lines of traffic gridlock just to get to downtown Vancouver. Harbour Air was looking for an alternate way to expand service to our passengers that live in the Valley but do business on the Island. The potential passenger base, with the tremendous growth in the Valley is huge, and the catchment area ranges from Hope to Surrey. A short 30 minute flight will have passengers right into Victoria’s downtown core avoiding the traffic hassle,” says Wright. He also comments that “Freight opportunities will be good here. Courier firms like UPS, Federal Express and Purolator already have arrangements on Harbour Air’s other scheduled service routes.”

Harbour Air Seaplanes’ new scheduled route will commence November 1st, operating 3 times daily, departing Langley at 7:45, 09:45 and 16:45 and departing Victoria’s Inner Harbour at 8:45, 14:15 and 17:45. The fare between Victoria and Langley will be $99 one-way, plus GST. The schedule will expand in the summer months to accommodate visitors and tourists that are arriving from the Fraser Valley area. Special promotional offers on this route include complimentary double frequent flyer points and an increased baggage allowance.

Harbour Air has been in business since 1981. Today, with over 25 aircraft, has become the largest all-seaplane airline in the world. Services include regularly scheduled flights connecting Vancouver, Victoria, Richmond, Nanaimo and the Gulf Islands, as well as scenic tours and private charters.
